Thanks to funding support from Child Australia and the Western Australian Government, Meerilinga is proud to announce that we are able to offer a limited number of free placements for vulnerable children whose families are experiencing financial hardship.
School readiness programs are essential to helping children develop their social skills, emotional regulation and early literacy and numeracy. While we continue to deliver a lower cost per session than many services, the cost of programs is a major barrier to families wishing to enrol their child in Early Childhood Education and Care. This program will help to overcome that barrier and ensure a great start for the children in our communities, while also providing space for parents and carers to resume their career or care for other children and family members.
