Since 2008, SDERA has been WA’s leading organisation for road safety. By using Smart Steps, SDERA aims to actively encourage children across WA to make safer choices by educating on pedestrian safety, passenger safety and rider safety.
Rather than parents having to continually say ‘don’t do that’ to children, Izzy the Iguana is on hand to help explain why road safety is so important in a way that engages children.
SDERA offers a range of information for children and educators to assist in helping young children to develop skills and behaviours that will keep them safe whether they are travelling as a passenger, pedestrian or bike rider.
