Our 100 Year History
Meerilinga’s association with children dates back to 1911, to the pioneers of the kindergarten movement and the early learning advocates for children’s interests in this state.
Children's Week - Convened in W.A. by Meerilinga
Children’s Week is a national, annual event held around the fourth Wednesday in October. It is a week dedicated to celebrating children, promoting the Rights of the Child as proclaimed by the United Nations in 1954 and to remind us of our responsibility to advocate for children as citizens.
