About Our Early Learning Programs
At Meerilinga, we believe in a balanced approach to teaching and learning. Our play-based ethos encourages your children to wonder, ask questions and explore the world around them while our experienced Educators guide them.
We know that children who learn through play are happier and more confident. Our Educators utilise intentional teaching to give children a solid foundation in their education and employ tested strategies that encourage effective communication and creativity. As a result, children at Meerilinga develop problem solving and thoughtful risk-taking skills, enabling them to become independent and confident learners.
Meerilinga is a not for profit and registered charity, which will always mean that the wellbeing and rights of your child are at the core of everything that we do.
As part of this intention, we closely follow ACECQA’s vision of ‘Belonging, Being and Becoming’ and use the Early Years Learning Framework to structure our Playgroup and Early Learning Program, helping your child to develop the skills they need in preparation of formal schooling.
