My Time Peer Support Program
Our team facilitates a group peer support group for parents and carers of children with disabilities, additional needs or undergoing a diagnosis at our Children and family centre in Ballajura.
Come and join us every Wednesday 9.30-11.30 during the school term for a coffee and chat, children are welcome to attend as we have a play facilitator available to engage with your children whilst you spend time with other peers, its free!
The aim of the session is to:
- Build a sense of belonging
- Connect with other parents and carers who understand
- To create a supportive non-judgmental environment
- Provide positive peer support
- Provide meaningful links to the community.
