Our 2 Children and Family Centres located within City of Joondalup were lucky enough to be visited by representatives from the local council, Community Development Coordinator Julie Forrester and Community Development Team Leader Elizabeth White Wednesday 11 March. It was a lovely meeting with our Woodvale and Kingsley Centre Coordinators proud to show their newly renovated Centres and discuss options for community organisations and to further connect with the Joondalup community.
Following this meeting Wendy Johnson our Kingsley Centre Coordinator utilised the opportunity to learn more about City of Joondalup Community Grants at their workshop held Wednesday 18 March. The content covered ranged from where the grants started, different funding available to community organisations and how to apply electronically using their new online system.
