Meerilinga Children and Family Centre High Wycombe hosted a free Building Resilience workshop on 4 April presented by Sue Marsh from Parenting WA. The families who attended the workshop learnt how to help their children build their resilience by developing their coping skills, coping emotions and coping behaviours.
The Centre played host to a free Heart Beat Club CPR and first aid Parent Workshop by the Royal Life Saving Society. The parents who attended had great satisfaction in learning vital skills for emergency situations. A crèche was also offered at the centre for which the parents very much appreciated.
