Begin your child’s learning journey with the welcoming community at Meerilinga Kingsley! More than a daycare, our team of experienced Early Childhood Educators are ready to guide your child through their first crucial stages of development and prepare them for school.
Our play areas at Kingsley include our famous chicken coop, large outdoor spaces and bright interiors, with small desk set ups arranged daily with fresh activities. We have developed the Bindi Kindi (2-3 years) and Pre-Kindy (3-5 years) Programs to help prepare your child for school, no matter where they are starting from.
Our great relationship with Dalmain Primary School also helps to assist our children when they enter the formal school curriculum.

Kingsley's Totem: Yongka
The Yongka is proud, loyal and loves the company of others. Its meaning is related to teaching and guiding, while also encouraging diligence, respect and humility.
This totem was designed in consultation with local Elders and the forms part of Meerilinga’s journey towards reconciliation. Thank you to Whadjuk Artist Ms Julianne Wade for creating the artwork.
The Meerilinga team were privileged to attend Child Australia’s the 2025 WA Early Childhood Learning and Development Sector Awards. This wonderful event celebrated the achievements of our industry, including those of Meerilinga’s Early Learning Programs.
Kingsley were thrilled to feature throughout the night, including receiving second place for Service in Excellence in Partnership with Families, Communities and Schools.
This award shows that we are fulfilling our mission of caring for children by serving their families and the community.
Playgroups
No child is too young for a Meerilinga Playgroup! All children from birth to five years love new experiences and can benefit from developing sensory, social and communication skills through our playgroup activities.
Even better, Meerilinga Playgroups are designed to involve and connect parents and families, with caregivers attending alongside their children and retaining responsibility for their wellbeing during each session.

Bindi Kindi Kingsley
This program is designed to nurture and engage two to three year old children, helping them to build confidence and thrive in a social setting.
- Ages: 2-3 years
- Days: Tuesday and Wednesday
- Times: 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Session Fee: $114.60

Eligible families are able to claim Child Care Subsidy on these sessions.
Pre-Kindy Kingsley
The experienced Educators of our small classes follow a play-based curriculum that is designed to address the individual needs of your child while preparing them for school.
- Ages: 2.9-5 years
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Times: 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Session Fee: $114.60
