Ballajura Early Learning Program
Join the community at Meerilinga Ballajura and enjoy the benefits of a local Early Learning Program. Our team of experienced Early Childhood Educators are on hand to guide your child through their first crucial stages of development and prepare them for school with specialist programs designed for two to five year olds.
At Ballajura, our setting includes a nature-based outdoor play area alongside large undercover and bright indoor spaces, all designed to help your child play with purpose. Your child will not only love coming here to meet our friendly chickens and play in our giant sandpit, with wooden deck, but they will enjoy learning with and meeting other peers.

Ballajura's Totem: Balga
The Balga has been a part of Ballajura’s landscape for thousands of years and have traditionally been used for medicine and smoking ceremonies. We love that the meaning of Balga is related to a sense of connection and are honoured to have it as the totem of Meerilinga Ballajura.
This totem was designed in consultation with local Elders and the forms part of Meerilinga’s journey towards reconciliation. Thank you to Whadjuk Artist Ms Julianne Wade for creating the artwork.
Playgroups
Connect with other parents and families while your child benefits from new experiences. Meerilinga Playgroups are designed to help children develop sensory, social and communication skills in a safe and friendly environment.
While our experienced Educators are often on hand throughout the Playgroup, caregivers attend these sessions alongside their children and retaining responsibility for their wellbeing during each session.

Bindi Kindi Ballajura
Our Bindi Kindi program is designed to nurture and engage 2-3 year old children, helping them to build confidence and thrive in a social setting.
Available Monday to Friday.
Available sessions:
- Half Days: 8:00am - 12.00pm, $59.76

Pre-Kindy Ballajura
Give your child the best start to their learning journey with our play-based program, designed to develop early social skills and prepare your child for school.
Available for 2-5 year olds, this program runs Monday to Friday.
Available session times:
- Half Day: 8:00am - 12:00pm, $59.76
- School Day: 8:30am - 3:30pm, $104.65
- Full Day: 8:00am - 4:30pm, $127.10
