High Wycombe Early Learning Program

At Meerilinga we believe in a balanced approach to teaching and learning.  Our play based ethos encourages our children to wonder, ask questions and to explore the world around them.

A local not-for-profit and central part of the thriving High Wycombe community, our High Wycombe service is a community centre with a difference. We even won the WA Service of the Year in the 2018 Early Childhood Education and Care Awards! Our much loved centre has undergone a number of ‘renovation rescues’ over the past years. Dozens of generous volunteers have transformed the outdoor learning area into a nature-play adventure playground. A haven where the children can discover, play and explore.

This community hub is situated next to Edney Primary School with plenty of parking, just a short walk from the local shops. Meerilinga High Wycombe provides parents with quality services to connect with the local community. Offering parenting resources and workshops that help support their child’s transition into kindy – and life.

While early learning is our main focus, Meerilinga’s goal is to promote positive childhoods in High Wycombe. To do this, Meerilinga follows ACECQA‘s vision of Belonging, Being & Becoming. Rated Exceeding under the National Quality Standard, Meerilinga High Wycombe uses the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to design its educational program. The entire team at Meerilinga High Wycombe are passionate about encouraging your child to enjoy childhood and helping them make meaningful discoveries by learning through play.
