At Meerilinga High Wycombe, our balanced approach to teaching and learning leads to a more positive early education for your child.

Guided by our experienced Early Childhood Educators, your child will learn how to explore their world and create their own unique learning outcomes. Both our Playgroup and Early Learning Programs closely follow the Early Years Learning Framework provided by ACECQA to help further our vision of positive childhoods. Our track record is proven, and we are continuing to build on our recognition as the ‘WA Service of the Year’ in 2018’s Early Childhood Education and Care Awards.

As a local not-for-profit working to change the lives of High Wycombe families for the better, we collaborate closely with community partners in all aspects of our organisation, including through regular community and parenting services. With the help of these partners and dozens of generous volunteers, our Centre now boasts a wonderful ‘Nature Play’ learning area where children can explore and have their own adventures.

Playgroups

No child is too young for a Meerilinga Playgroup! All children from birth to five years love new experiences and can benefit from developing sensory, social and communication skills through our playgroup activities.

Even better, Meerilinga Playgroups are designed to involve and connect parents and families, with caregivers attending alongside their children and retaining responsibility for their wellbeing during each session.

Including at least three families at a time, your local Centre’s Playgroups goes on at least once a week and coincide with the School Term, the dates of which can be found on the Department of Education website.
