This fun early education programs focus on learning through play! We even offer our families a free trial day to help make the decision easier.

Meerilinga is a not-for-profit organisation and a vibrant hub for community groups and families. Meerilinga’s program features a huge nature-based outdoor play area. We also offer a large undercover area to encourage safe outdoor play whether rain or shine! A hidden gem, our centre is an integral part of the Hilton community: we’re located right next to Hilton Primary School, and are proudly supported by The City of Fremantle.

Our goal at Meerilinga Hilton is to promote positive childhoods, including supporting families with their child’s transition into school. At Meerilinga we promote positive childhoods within the community. We support the individual needs of local families and their child’s transition into kindy – and life. Meerilinga closely follows ACECQA‘s vision of Belonging, Being & Becoming. To support our learning journey, we use the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to create our educational programs. Our team are passionate about letting your child enjoy childhood and facilitating meaningful discoveries as they learn through play.

Playgroups

No child is too young for playgroup. All children from birth-5 years, love new experiences and benefit from developing sensory, social and communication skills through activities at playgroup.

Playgroups vary from one session a week made up of three or more members to multiple sessions over the week. Session times are informed from the group from time to time.

Our playgroups coincide with the School term. Please visit the education dept website or contact the service for these dates. Future Term Dates.

At playgroup generally members and caregivers attend with their children and retain responsibility for their wellbeing and supervision at all times.
